Dragon Ball battles don’t always go how you think they will and these twists are part of what makes the series so great. Some battles make it seem like one opponent is stronger, but the result of the fight proves otherwise, a type of outcome that’s actually pretty common in the franchise. Everything from Goku’s early days in Dragon Ball to the crazy battle twists of Super, there’s just no guarantee who’ll win a battle based on the beginning of the duel.
