Captain Marvel had many surprising revelations, but one of the things that really surprised many fans is how the Skrulls were introduced. While many were sure that the green skinned shapeshifters were going to be the new main bad guys, it was revealed that they’re actually not that bad and ended up being allies for Captain Marvel. One of the main reason fans wanted to see the Skrulls in the MCU is because of the Secret Invasion storyline in the comics. In that story, the Skrulls replaced many heroes and took their place, causing a major shakeup in the Marvel Universe.

But while the Skrulls were good in Captain Marvel, we still believe we’ll be getting the Secret Invasion in the MCU and we have some ideas on how it might happen.
