During Avengers: Infinity War, our heroes came precariously close to defeating Thanos a number of times. He was almost brought down on Titan, but thanks to Star-Lord’s impulsiveness, he escaped. Then on Wakanda, his mission almost failed, but he was able to use the Time Stone to collect the Mind Stone. The hero who came the closest to bringing down the Mad Titan was Thor and, if he’d just aimed Stormbreaker at his head and not his chest, Endgame would undoubtedly be a very different movie. Thor and Rocket had one of the best dynamics in Infinity War, but could these pals face Thanos much earlier than we thought as we head into the Endgame?
