Sometimes, it seems as though there’s nothing Doctor Strange can’t do, especially when he has the Time Stone at his disposal. Well, except for defeating Thanos, that is. Sorry, too soon! We all remember the scene in Avengers: Infinity War when he used the Eye of Agamotto to check out fourteen million plus possible futures only to find a single one where Thanos was defeated, but if you think back to his source material, there’s a rule at play here that few people realized, which could have a serious impact on what happens during Avengers: Endgame.
