Who doesn’t love Pokémon? We’ve been obsessed with the franchise ever since Pokemon Red and Blue came into our lives all the way back in 1998. Your rival in Pokemon Red and Blue always has a Rattata or Raticate with him, but when you fight him in Lavender Town, it’s no longer there. Lavender Town is known for being the spookiest place in Kanto with a whole tower full of graves of Pokemon, so could the Pokemon have actually died and your rival is only there to pay his respects?
