When you think of Thanos, the first thing that comes to mind is that he’s a big purple bad guy. He’s incredibly powerful which is one of the many reasons why he’s known as the Mad Titan. While we know Thanos is real strong with the Infinity Gauntlet, he’s more than capable without it as well.

Thanos is the power hungry, Infinity Stone obsessed wielder of the Infinity Gauntlet who got rid of half of the universe's population with a snap of his fingers, but if you’re as a strong as him, you’d probably be obsessed with power as well. While Thanos is much stronger in the comics than in the MCU, he has shown himself to be quite a handful even without the Infinity Gauntlet.
