Ever since he was first introduced, Lord Beerus was presented as a big, mean, powerful god whose irritable personality made him a destruction bomb ready to go off at all times, but beneath his scowl and short temper, Beerus is actually a pretty chill dude. From the time he spared the earth to all the respect he’s shown the fighters of his universe, it’s pretty clear that Beerus is much nicer than he lets on.

Well, okay, not that nice, but you get the idea. Beerus isn’t the villain he was first depicted as. In fact, his job is to destroy evil planets, a job that he doesn’t take all that seriously because of his laziness. By the end of Super, it became clear that Beerus actually likes his universe, which is why we gathered some moments that proves he was never evil.
