The Marvel Cinematic Universe is in its tenth spectacular year with 20 movies under its belt as well as shows on Netflix and ABC. While that has introduced audiences to superheroes that have become top tier titles like Captain America, Thor, Iron Man and Black Panther, it has also meant that some deep catalog secondary and supporting characters have made their way to the big and little screen as well. Who could have imagined fifteen years ago that Batroc the Leaper would have a big screen adaptation?

Supporting cast members are key to a superhero character, whether it’s to keep them grounded, act as a moral compass, or just have someone to save periodically.
