When the entire movie industry has remake fever, you know that a classic like The Lion King was coming soon. Disney knows the value of its properties, so after the success of live action Jungle Book, Beauty and the Beast, and more, this seems like an inevitable step. Disney’s Lion King 2019 has a LOT in common, trailer wise, to the 1994 animated original. The teaser trailer is almost a shot for shot remake of the intro to the first! Not to say that’s a bad thing… But we are very excited to see our favorite characters like Simba, Rafiki, and the animals before the big screen debut.
