If you’re looking for examples of a happy, healthy marriage, television isn’t the way to go. Although we love The Simpsons, the relationship between Homer and Marge Simpson is pretty much a worse case scenario as far as we’re concerned. We’ll talk about some of the worst things Homer has ever done, which would’ve caused most other women to run away screaming.

His best characteristic as a husband seems to be not cheating on his wife, which really isn’t much to brag about. He’s involved his family with the Springfield mob and has even driven Marge to a complete mental breakdown. We might be tempted to suggest therapy, but when Marge tried this, Homer violated her trust in a major way.
