Although the Infinity Stones had a huge part to play during Avengers: Infinity War, they had been a part of the MCU long before that time. Sure, they went by other names, but looking back, it’s clear these artifacts have been shaping the paths for our favorite Marvel heroes, but one of the stones stands out above the rest and we have reason to believe the Mind Stone will have an enormous role in Avengers 4.

We first saw the stone when Thanos gave it to Loki, but could it be responsible for tainting the personality of both the Mad Titan and the Trickster God? Thor saw a vision of the stone during Avengers: Age of Ultron, which may have revealed the extent of its evil possibilities.
