The Simpsons has been making us cry, laugh and ponder life way more than any cartoon really should for almost 30 years. That’s 30 years of tuning in weekly to see what shenanigans the Simpsons family get into and what crazy characters they come into contact with. A fan favorite and regular antagonist for years has been Montgomery Burns, or Mr. Burns for short. The skeletal, seemingly ageless millionaire and CEO of the power planet has had so many storylines that almost bring the town of Springfield to ruins, but at times, he’s not that bad of a guy, just a little misguided.

While most of the time he’s pretty awful, he’s critical to many plots in the Simpsons series. Even when he tries to change his ways, it somehow ends up being evil, so maybe he is just a flawed character? Even though, in the Simpsons world, he’s the worst person ever, (he can’t even remember Homer's name!) he’s one of the best characters in The Simpsons because of how insane he is. Hey, your story is only as good as your villain, which is one of reason why the Simpsons are so good!
