It’s a foregone conclusion that the MCU just has a special something that the DC films don’t have. Many have argued the details about plot holes, the intrigues behind the scenes, not sticking to the comics enough and more, but most people understand in their heart what the problem is: these films just lack feeling. They lack soul. They have weird, bad tone that make it hard to care about the people on screen, except Wonder Woman. You’re fine Gal Gadot!

So with all of that in mind, wouldn’t it be nice if the people in charge of Marvel just took over the DC films? They don’t have to take over the comics or anything, but more than a few of you have probably though the same thing: the DCEU needs the MCU’s magic and Aquaman might be no different. We’ll cover how we think Aquaman might fall short and how Marvel’s strengths could make it better.
