I am Groot. It’s the only three words the sentient, tree-like creature known as Groot can say and we’ve never seen three words with so many different meanings. Since we first saw him on the big screen in Guardians of the Galaxy, we absolutely fell in love with his character. He has literally evolved the most out of any character in the MCU.

He started off as a big, beastly tree with incredible powers in the first Guardians of the Galaxy before sacrificing himself to save the his new friends at the end of the Battle of Xandar. Luckily, Rocket Raccoon found a part of his body and he lived on as Baby Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. When we see him in Avengers: Infinity War he’s a teenager obsessed with that tablet, but we hope he still has some heroics in him. This leaves us wondering what he’s going to look like in Avengers 4.
