For years, a lot of mystery has surrounded Thanos and the MCU. Marvel has only teased at the character and we have been forced to wait years to see more about him in The Avengers: Infinity War. Through the comics, fans have gotten to learn a ton about the character, but many of these facts may never come across the big screen.
Thanos used the powers of the Infinity Gauntlet to incur all types of damage, but he also used the powers to create his own girlfriend in the form of Terraxia. Thanos is pure evil, but Marvel once revealed his love for the holidays and the ways he would celebrate with Gamora when she was just a young child. The origins of Thanos can date back several decades when the character was formed and based off of two different DC villains. There have been many people to take down Thanos over the years, but one of the more shocking ones was a hero who relies on the help of animals to defeat him. Thanos’s greatest rivalry isn’t with Captain America, Iron Man, or the Guardians of the Galaxy. It’s actually with Deadpool. Thanos is a cosmic being who travels around on spaceships and through other means. Shockingly, he once relied on a vehicle known as the Thanos Copter to get around. From birth, Thanos has led a troubled life, especially after his own mother tried to kill the newborn baby.
