T’Challa has been known as the Black Panther since the 1960’s and the character has undergone a lot of changes through the years. From the comics to television and now the big screen, the Black Panther has evolved and only improved over the years. His debut came with the Fantastic Four where he attacked the heroes before revealing his long history. After getting introduced to Wakanda, fan enjoyed even more of the Black Panther with the publication of Jungle Action. The Black Panther also joined the Avengers to take on enemies and the X-Men. The Black Panther’s first animated appearance came on an episode of X-Men the animated series. His first speaking role was on the Fantastic Four animated series and was followed up with numerous other animated shows. As more comic books were released, we got introduced to villains like Man-Ape, Erik Killmonger, Klaw, and Man-Ape. We also learned about the history of his adopted brother White Wolf. Black Panther’s first solo television series was a motion comic created for the BET network. He also teamed up with Iron Man for his CG animated series. The live action version of Black Panther finally debuted in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War. Chadwick Boseman played the role and built up early story elements for the 2018 release of the official Marvel Black Panther movie. Along with Black Panther, T’Challa will return again to team up with his friends for The Avengers: Infinity War. Watch to see his whole evolution and everything to come!
