Deadpool is still a year away from release, but the the movie just started production, so small details are starting to leak out. As CBR began to learn the scoop on Deadpool’s sequel, we began putting together a list of everything that Deadpool 2 is getting right.

No one ever thought a Deadpool movie could get a sequel, let alone even be made. Maybe the first thing Deadpool ever did right was star in a movie. Another thing done right, they’re keeping the budget on the second film comparable to the first. Trying not to get too big for the their red and black britches.

We said britches, get your mind out of the gutter. Deadpool’s keeping his mind planted firmly in one; the jokes will be just as dirty in Deadpool 2.

A slew of cast and crew will be around for a second outing with the Merc With a Mouth. Including, the film’s writers. A huge part of the first film’s success. We’re also going to see several of the supporting cast, including Vanessa, Weasel, Blind Al and Dopinder.

The X-Men are returning as well, at least Colossus and his not-sidekick, Negasonic Teenage Warhead. They won’t be the only mutants in the second film, as Black Tom Cassidy will make his bg screen debut.

Also making their entrance into the Sony/Marvel universe is Domino. The luckiest of all the mutants, and member of X-Force along with Copycat and Deadpool. Which means, if we have all these X-Force members, could a X-Force mobe be far behind? Since freaking Cable is coming, and he’s the leader of X-Force and a frenemy of of Deadpool, there is a great chance.
