Tony Stark has it all. Money. Brains. Fast cars. Women. And all of those state of the art Iron Man suits and hes not averse to sharing with his friends. Peter Parker is one close friend but it was his girlfriend Mary Jane had the opportunity to wear the Iron Spider Suit. As did Pepper Potts slip into various suits, usually for her protection. But it takes a weasel to steal an older suit and that rat was Weasel Willis. The intelligent decision to fend off other similar indiscretions lead to the creation of the Iron League; five of Starks friends and foes got the wardrobe upgrade. Tonys chauffeur, Happy Hogan not only drives him around town but substitutes as his understudy and was turned into the hideous freak. Sonny Frisco was a Corporate mercenary that developed his own Iron Man suit and even stole the name. Eddie March found employment at Stark Industries via Happy Hogan and was promoted, like Happy to assist Tony as an alternate Iron Man. Captain Americas destiny was shaken up like a snow globe in the What If? Series Steve Rogers trades in his shield for being fused to an Iron Man suit. Tony Stark is a party guy and in one instance he ripped it up with Deadpool then stole Starks suit to "paint the town red!" In Marvel Knights: Spider-Man Vol 1 20, "Retreat" Aunt May sneak into Doctor Dooms stronghold with Spidey and Mary Jane, her and Mary Jane fly in wearing Iron Man suits and save Parker from a deadly Doombot attack.
