It’s a bird! It’s a plane! Nope it’s….Hollywood being taken over by superheroes. Yes you may have noticed a certain comic book world takeover and if you’re anything like us, then you’ve definitely enjoyed the ride. There have been loads of comic book films, some of them awesome and others have been no so great. And within this past decade, we’ve seen some comic book films that need to retire and try a different route. We’ve compiled a list of superhero movies that could use a makeover and reboot. The film franchise that started it all, X-Men, was made before Hollywood knew how to handle a franchise. We’ve seen it evolve and recently saw a new cast of characters, only to be tied back into the original. We think it’s time to retire the old and give the new characters their time to shine. Speaking of X-Men, Wolverine as played by Hugh Jackman has been around forever. We can’t see anyone else playing Wolverine but it’s time to give someone else a chance. With Logan killing off Wolverine, now would be the perfect time to explore X-23 and her taking over the role of Wolverine. Speaking of female characters, how about rebooting Thor with a female Thor, Jane Foster? Or maybe we can get Fox to agree for the X-Men to team up with the Avengers? We will say we definitely need a solid reboot of The Incredible Hulk now that we have found the perfect Bruce Banner in Mark Ruffalo. Want to know what else made our list?
