When it comes to Marvel, we know there are hundreds of character rich universes out there. One of the best and densest universes is of course the Spider-Man universe. With the new Spider-Man: Homecoming film hitting the big screens, we are left wanting more Spidey. Well Sony has announced that they plan on exploring the Spider-verse and its secondary characters like Venom. We can’t wait and so we have compiled a list of characters we are dying to see on the big screen. We would love to see Spider-Man 2099, because who doesn’t love time traveling heroes from the future?
Also we would love to see Spider-Man Noir, because the only thing better than futuristic films are retro noir films. We think superheroes set in the 1930s and 40s would just translate so beautifully on screen. How about some female representation on the screen? We have our eyes set on Spider-Girl herself, Mayday Parker. She’s perfect because she’s Peter Parker and Mary Jane’s daughter, she’d continue the legacy. And of course, Sony would have to include Spider-Gwen. She’s one of the most popular spin offs to date. We think fans would love to see her on screen. As well as other fan favorite Miles Morales. Although Miles has an animated film in the works, we think a live action one would do extremely well. Want to know what else made our list?
