We didn’t get much in the way of a post credit scene from the first Guardians of the Galaxy, although it was pretty funny to see Howard the Duck. Mid credits wasn’t much either, but baby Groot is beyond adorable so we can’t complain too much. Given the nature of Guardians of the Galaxy, we can expect to see way more hysterical scenes during and after the credits. But we’d love to see more than that, too. The first time around we got some funny scenes but no substantial take away. Now that they’ve cemented themselves as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we need to see some ties to the rest of the MCU. We want to see tem interact with Spider-Man, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Captain America, Ant-Man, all of those heroes from the Avengers we have come to know and love, especially with Infinity Wars on the horizon. Let’s not forget that they have their own story lines to deal with as well. It would be great to see a teaser or two about the future of the team, and maybe even a flashback of what happened in the past before we met Starlord, Gamora, Rocket, Groot, and Drax. Plus with the new additions to the team in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, we’re going to need even more goodies to clue us in about the most recent recruits including Mantis, Nebula, and Yondu. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for the Guardians of the Galaxy.
