Cameos are a fun staple in film that let fans have a few moments with a beloved character or actor from another film or even universe. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story had its fair share of cameos, with plenty of callbacks to the older films, such as Dr. Evazan and Ponda Baba, and tossing in a few hidden cameos that you be none the wiser about, such as Gareth Edwards’ quick cameo. Did you catch Lin Manuel Miranda in Force Awakens? The Star Wars films have legions of fans and characters to pull from, ranging from the iconic to the obscure. With Episode 8, the last jedi just around the corner, we thought it would be fun to ponder what kind of cameos we could expect in the film. Some of these choices may very well end up in the film, and maybe even in larger roles than we’d expect but for now, we’re gonna treat all possibilities as small cameos as we wouldn’t want things getting too crowded in the final product.
