The Star Wars franchise has a ton of great characters who interact, become friends and save the galaxy together. Everyone who watches A New Hope still gets a warm feeling in their heart every time they see Luke, Chewie and Han get applauded for saving the galaxy. The entirety of shows like Clone Wars and Rebels focuses on how close friendships can have major benefits on a galactic scale even among the smallest of groups. Then there are the friendships that are a lot darker, but no less important. Of these villainous connections, none are more important than the one between two of the franchise’s best villains, Darth Vader and Boba Fett.

These two bad guys basically hate everyone so the fact that they have teamed up many times throughout the franchise on the big screen, games and comics proves that the two of them are likely the closest friend the other has in the galaxy. For one, you have to admit that they have a lot in common. They both are men of few words, both have amazing style and both absolutely hate the Jedi! Vader continuously hires Fett for work for the Empire and not just because he’s a capable warrior. He also hired him because he reminded him of another warrior he used to work alongside while he was Anakin Skywalker.
