How great was The Mandalorian season two? That’s a rhetorical question because we all know IT WAS THE MOST AMAZING THING EVER. It had Ahsoka Tano, the return of Boba Fett and even Luke freakin’ Skywalker! Seriously, how are they ever going to top season two? Well, I think it will have to do with the other season two guest star who stole the show, Bo-Katan Kryze.
The season ended with Din Djarin having defeated Moff Gideon and claimed his Darksaber for himself. The only problem is that the Darksaber is a blade of supreme importance to the Mandalorian culture. In fact, Bo-Katan’s goal of becoming the leader of Mandalore hinges directly on her gaining the saber for herself. It is the legendary weapon of the Mandalore and it is traditionally won in a trial by combat. That means that poor Din Djarin has no clue what’s in store for him.
While he may count Bo-Katan as a close ally, she likely considers him to be one of her greatest enemies and her only rival for the throne. She will likely attack him at some point in the future in order to take the blade from his cold, lifeless hands. Though, that’s only the beginning of the story. I mean, it’s called The Mandalorian and he is THE Mandalorian. It can’t go down like that.
So let’s dive into how Mando may have to kill Bo-Katan and the consequences that could follow!
