Blade and Morbius Will Bring The Vampire Apocalypse To The MCU

For the longest time, it felt like the MCU and the Sonyverse were going to stay separate from one another, but now that may not be the case. Thanks to things like the multiverse, both these two superhero universes can feasibly interact with each other without crossing any wires. This opens up a whole range of interesting scenarios, with the biggest being that the MCU’s Blade could end up fighting the Sonyverse’s Morbius.
I mean, it makes sense right? Blade is a vampire hunter and Morbius is a living vampire. Sounds like a match made in heaven! It would be weird if these two didn’t end up crossing paths at one point but how do you do it? We still don’t know much about the upcoming Blade project besides the fact that Mahershala Ali will be taking over for Wesley Snipes for the role and that the movie will be released sometime in Phase 5. That’s not a lot of information to go on!
So that’s why today, I thought it would be nice to speculate on how these two could meet up! I know a lot of people would want Blade operating in the Sonyverse and maybe show up in a Morbius post-credit scene or something, but I actually think its better if Blade is established in the MCU first before crossing him over with Morbius. Although the wait for that would be brutal, I overall think that’s the best way to go to service both characters properly. That way, when Morbius’ Vampire Apocalypse starts to rise and take over, Blade can show up and audiences will be conflicted on who to root for!
