MCU: Civil War 2 Will Begin With Namor And Atlantis

Namor is a fan favorite Marvel character and for good reason. In fact, there may not be a character who hasn’t debuted in the MCU yet that we’ve talked about more here on CBR than our favorite sub-mariner. He’s more than just Marvel’s version of Aquaman, he’s one of the most interesting anti-heroes in all of comics. We know Deadpool will be joining the MCU as an anti-hero as well, so we’re happy to see a bunch of wild cards enter the fold. You can never have too many agents of chaos.

Trouble seems to follow Namor wherever he goes and I expect more of the same once he makes his MCU debut. I have him pegged as the main villain of Black Panther 2 where he’ll have a quarrel with the Black Panther, whether it’s T’Challa or Shuri. They’ll come to an agreement by the end of the movie which will pave the way for Civil War II to take place. Humans tend to involve themselves in everything and I feel like they’ll find a way to stick their nose where it doesn’t belong and get on Atlantis’ bad side, causing a full scale Civil War between Team Earth and Team Atlantis.
