Dragon Ball: Nimbus' Origins Explained

The lore of Dragon Ball is all surrounded by legend. The Legend of the Super Saiyan. The Legend of the Super Saiyan God. There being Gods of Destructions, Angels, other universes, and so much more. As dragon ball continues more about this world is being uncovered. However, there’s one mystery that’s been left unsolved that goes back to when Goku was just a kid taking his first steps towards greatness. Who and what is Flying Nimbus?

Introduced to us by Master Roshi, Nimbus has been a recurring character that appears anytime one of our heroes needs a lift. We know he’s orange, we know master Roshi is way too impure to ride him, and we know no matter where you are, call his name and Nimbus will appear. However, that’s it! Despite the hundreds of episodes we have yet to get anything more on our little orange friend -- until today! You see, I did a bit of digging and found out Nimbus’ history runs deep all the way back to seventh century China. Also, after doing more research I believe I know who Nimbus’ creator is.
