Star Wars is packed with lore. Not just Jedi and the Force and Empires and Rebellions. Single throwaway lines like “Your father fought in the Clone Wars” at once insinuated a larger world that would give birth to its own trilogy and even a long running animated series. Thanks to the immense and vibrant world that was suggested by the groundbreaking movies has led to a growing universe of fiction built around it including source books, novels, comic books, television shows, specials, on and on. Each new addition would add a new layer to the ever expanding universe and all new lore to the galaxy far, far away. Even after Star Wars was bought by Disney who streamlined what was and was not canon by limiting it to any of the visual mediums that had been created, which is to say the movies and major animated series, specifically The Clone Wars, the massive world suggested in Star Wars was both deep and vibrant.
