WandaVision. We love it. But still, so many questions are rolling through our heads. The current big head-scratcher is the identity and origins of Evan Peters’ Quicksilver making his MCU debut. A major fan favourite, QuickSilver has been around the X-Men circuit for a bit; but only recently has Marvel and Disney reclaimed the X-men for their own purposes. Since Peters has already played the character to such a positive response, why not use him. Even if this makes sense from a business standpoint, they still have to write it in. So who's the new guy?
Well, since the MCU is moving headlong into a new era, it's time to open up some new plot threads, one of these potentially being the existence of alternate earths and the greater Marvel Multiverse. Since our good friend Doctor Strange has an upcoming film with that title, what's to say he’s not also involved with this reality-bending show. Scarlet Witch and Strange have also been known to bump heads more than a handful of times over the years in the comics; might as well fight magic with more magic. Few other things are powerful enough to make a dent.
So we do a deep dig into the clues that have led us to this possibility, and are the facts adding up? Do we have a breach into the Hex via the Sorcerer Supreme? And how many other Magic-Users may be lurking in the streets of Westview? Let's find out.
