Marvel's Spectrum Is A New Young Avenger

On today’s Woo-files we explore the mysterious case of Monica Rambeau, codename: Spectrum. Intelligence tells us that before developing electromagnetic powers, she was a close friend to Carol Denvers, codename: Captain Marvel. She was also heavily involved in “The Hex Incident,” in Westview, a town who never really existed in the first place.

The first time we saw Agent Rambeau on screen we had no idea who Geraldine was. Well that all changed when she mentioned Ultron and the death of Pietro, A.K.A. Quicksilver, during the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Noticing that the S.W.O.R.D. agent was slowly fighting the Scarlet Witch’s magic, she literally sent her flying out of her home, and out of her town.

Although we have more answers about the identity of Monica Rambeau, who actually also appeared as Carol Devenr’s best friend’s daughter in the 2019 film Captain Marvel, there’s still a lot of mystery surrounding the character.

In today’s investigation into the weird world of mutants, inhumans and enhanced individuals, I will explain Agent Rambeau’s origins, how she became the empowered Spectrum, and what will be her role in the future of this world we call Earth.
