Marvel Reveals Doctor Strange New Villain

WandaVision just ended and boy was it amazing. Marvel’s most ambitious project to date finally came to an end with Wanda becoming the Scarlet Witch with a shiny new book called the Darkhold full of terrifying knowledge. For those that don’t know about the Darkhold, you might not realize how much of a big deal it is that Wanda of all people has this book in her possession. This is among one of the worst things that could possibly happen in the MCU. Like they will probably miss Thanos if this storyline goes the way it does in the comics.

That will almost definitely lead to the new Doctor Strange sequel. The Sorcerer Supreme is going to really regret not showing up to fix the WestView anomaly. The Darkhold is not only the most terrifying tome in the Marvel continuity, it is also connected to the elder god known as Chthon. This being was the first to use dark magic. He then took his knowledge to the page by writing scrolls that eventually became the Darkhold. In the comics, Wanda Maximoff is frequently attacked and taken over by Chthon. WandaVision makes it explicit that the Scarlet Witch is much more powerful than the Sorcerer Supreme. I bet Marvel will put that idea to the test.
