10 Dark Marvel Storylines Revealed

The MCU just got a whole lot weirder. Disney+’s WandaVision proves that the MCU is ready for a much stranger type of Marvel tale. For some fans who are used to the fun and easily-digestible form the MCU takes, this new series was a bit disturbing. If you think WandaVision is strange, then there are definitely more than a few Marvel comics stories that you want to avoid. While Marvel is known for creating fun paragons of hope like Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four, they are also known for twisted, disturbing stories that can be brilliant and utterly terrible.

These stories range from the great like the latest body horror take on the Hulk which see’s the most twisted form of Bruce Banner and the Hulk’s relationship. Then there’s the surprisingly fantastic story spun off from the strangest Spider-Man and Doc Ock idea ever made. Of course there are also a ton of stories featuring everyone’s favorite fourth-wall breaking hero Deadpool where he has a fun and twisted rampage through the Marvel universe.

Then there are the stories even Marvel probably wishes don’t exist. The ones that perform horrible character assasination on some beloved heroes like Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Daredevil, Captain America, Spider-Man and Wolverine. Seriously, most Marvel characters have had at least one horrifying plotline.

So let’s jump right into the Darkest corners of the Marvel universe as we go through the stories the MCU clearly won’t adapt.
