Marvel: Black Panther and Storms Hidden Story

There are a ton of great relationships in Marvel comics. Peter Parker and Mary Jane, Tony Stark and Pepper Potts, Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter, Steve Rogers and Sharon Carter are just a few of the iconic love stories we’ve seen over the decades. As great as all of those are, there is one royal romance that reigns over them all. One that we will tragically never be able to see in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. That is, of course, the romance between Black Panther of Wakanda and Storm of the X-Men.

Before we dive into that, we’ll establish the pasts of both characters in the comics. Both of them have different pasts than they do in their movie adaptations. Storm notably has a completely different history seeing as we’ve never had an accurate portrayal of her despite the fact that she’s one of the all time best X-Men characters. T’Challa has a very similar history to his MCU counterpart with one major exception that leads him right into Ororo Munroe’s path.

We’ll then cover their love story as they have a whirlwind romance that leads to marriage and then about thirty massive event comics. Together, their marriage lasts through Civil Wars, Secret Invasions, Doomwars and one notable stint where one of them tries to be Daredevil. Unfortunately, one final event like this would tear them apart.

So let’s jump right into the best Marvel love story, Black Panther and Storm.
