Is Steve Rogers gone on to Hero Heaven? After the six episodes of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, we haven’t yet seen the original Captain America’s mug or body, but that hasn’t stopped us from theorizing that the Star-Spangled man has met his maker. We’ve come up with 5 theories that Mr. Rogers is playing cards in the clouds with Tony Stark, and one that he’s staging a comeback of Michael Jordan circa 1995 proportions.
We’re going to talk about that famous Vibranium Shield, and how Mr. Wilson would have given it directly back to the original cap when he decided to refuse the mantle if he were alive. We’re going to talk about how Bucky’s relationship with Yori is not just redemption for The Winter Soldier’s past sins, but a replacement for the Capsized vacuum left in his life. We’ll theorize about how Sam’s relationship with Bucky could be Steve’s final wish - for The Falcon to watch over the comrade who saved him from the bullies in the alley in the late 1930s. We’ll talk about Sam’s total lack of a mentor, and how Old Cap would be the obvious choice, and his absence must mean his death. And lastly, my personal fave, we’ll talk about how America’s A** is alive and kicking, waiting for some huge villain (like Adam Warlock) to polarize him straight outta retirement and back center stage.

01:04 The Age of Steve
