Here are six Wakanda Forever storylines we the people want to see. With the death of Hollywood star Chadwick Boseman and the Marvel Cinematic Universe moving into phase four, the MCU is moving ahead with it’s July 8th, 2022 release date. Who’s going to be in the Black Panther Sequel? Will Erik Killmonger be back? What will be the fate of W’Kabi? Is Shuri sure to take the throne? Is Nakia worthy of the title? Is Okoye destined to take the number one spot? We’ll speculate about all of this and more in our six theories.

Director Ryan Coogler has stated that he and Disney will not be recasting the role of King T’Challa, and so chances are we'll be saying goodbye to the Black Panther we know and love and have to say a skeptical hello to his successor. Will it be a woman? An old frenemy like M’Baku? His sister? Maybe his mom will don the helm. Anything is possible, and even though your guess is as good as ours, we’re going to develop our theories for the pleasure of your eyes and ears. You can rewatch this video in 2022 and see if we are in fact clairvoyant.

Wakanda has become part of the collective unconscious and has captured the imagination of story lovers around the world. Let’s let ourselves be inspired by it and use the power it gave us to tell our own stories while we wait for this monster flick to drop.
