At this point we’ve all heard of the Mighty Thor Odinson, Price of Asgard. And with him comes in tow, Loki Laufeyson, God of Mischief. But a less heard name in the MCU would be Balder the Brave. Just who is this mysterious Asgardian? And where can we find him in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, if he even is there at all? That’s what we are here to talk about today. Thanks to the ever terrifying Hela in Thor: Ragnarok, we know that the history of Asgard and it’s past is a little less clear than we thought. Odin managed to erase one of his own children entirely from history, making her a stranger to even her own siblings. If he could do this once, why not again? Balder is every bit as powerful as his siblings, with a few extra boosts that really set him apart. Like Hela, being in Asgard provides him with more than a few magical benefits. And though he is not unkillable, he gets pretty close. With the other upcoming pieces of Asgardian history such as Thor: Love and Thunder, and the soon to debut Loki Series on Disney Plus, we can’t be fully sure how much more we may learn about the Asgardians.
