This is the one Where They Finally Go to Space, or whatever you want to call it, is finally hitting theaters after over a year of delays! It’s been a long wait to see Dominic Toretto and his family race all quick and angrily around the world and the movie promises to deliver surprise after surprise! What do you think is going to be the biggest? Is it that Dom has an evil half-brother named Jakob Toretto played by John Cena? Is it Charlize Theron’s Cypher’s outrageous new hair-do? No, it has to be the fact that Seoul-Oh is back!
Yes that’s right, #JusticeForHan is finally happening! At least in some capacity. Even though his character looked like he met his demise both in Tokyo Drift and Fast and Furious 6 at the hands of Deckard Shaw, it looks like Seoul-Oh is alive and well! How is this possible? Although the franchise will come up with a convoluted way to explain why he is still alive, we think they’re missing an extraordinary opportunity here. What if the Seoul-Oh that’s back isn’t the OG we remember? No, I’m not talking about his Cyborg version, but rather, the classic twin brother trope!
Not only would introducing his twin brother be a great chance to bring Sung Kang back into the fold in a unique way, but it would play into the theme of the movie in regards to estranged brotherhood. It would also provide much better story material for the future! Would it be a little Soap Opera-y? Absolutely, but it’s not like the franchise hasn’t done it before with the whole Letty storyline right?
Today’s video is all about why having his Twin Brother would be the best option for the movie and the franchise. So go ahead and watch it and be sure to tell us what you think in the comments below! Do you agree? Does he still love snacks? Tell us everything! Oh and be sure to hit that big like and subscribe button or else Dom will challenge you to a race and trust me, you don’t want that. Thanks for watching CBR! Let’s get started.
