Kakarot and the Saiyan Prince are both sons of a destroyed planet who have found their new home as defenders of Earth in the DB franchise. The rivalry between Kakarot and the Saiyan Prince is the most powerful in all of DB. It’s a rivalry so powerful that its influence can be felt in later shounen series with matchups such as Naruto vs. Sasuke and Deku vs. Bakugo. But which one of these Saiyan warriors is the ultimate fighter? The best family man? The best-written character overall? The two have faced off many times over the past few decades but even today the battle rages on.

The hero Kakarot often gets all the attention, but not this time. Today we’re going to tell you all the amazing times when the Prince of All Saiyans outmatches the Saiyan from Earth. We’re going all the way back before DB and all the way forward to DB Super and DB GT. We’ll compare their fights against each other and their fights with others. We’ll see what kinds of training and technique give The Prince of all Saiyans the edge.
