This group may very well be the most terrifying thing to ever happen to the Shinobi world. The symbol of a red cloud on a black cloak likely still brings fear to any that see it and for good reason. Showdowns like The Hidden Leafs Orange Ninja vs. Pain or Madara vs the Shinobi Alliance alone are enough to convince anyone that this organization does not play when it comes to evil plots, secret bosses, and s-class members. Of all the members, which one is the best? It can be hard to judge when pretty much the entire team is made up of ninja who could bring an entire village to its knees single-handedly. Still, this is something we need to figure out.

We’ll analyze some of the organization’s fiercest clashes like Shikamaru vs Pain, Deidara vs Gaara, and Kisame vs Might Guy to determine exactly how to rank these monsters. We’ll go through their powers like the Six Paths of Pain, their secret manipulators like Black Zetsu or Kaguya, and their potential for the future in Boruto. Orochimaru could go back to being the big bad pretty much any time. We’ll go through each and every core member from the obscure ones who didn’t make it very long to the founder who never would’ve guessed what his organization would grow to become.
