Kill-panther might be known by a slightly different name in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, one that definitely strikes fear into the hearts of just about every Wakandan out there. Kill-Panther was a highlight for this Marvel movie and Michael B. Jordan was able to give us one of the best villains ever for a comic book film. And just like every baddie that stands in the way of our main hero, Kill-Panther had an ultimate goal, and a plan to get everything he wanted. And he would’ve gotten away with it too if it wasn’t for that meddling T’Challa and his Wakandan supporters!
But have you ever stopped to actually analyze what Kill-Panther’s plan actually was and how he set out to do it? We know he ultimately wanted to help his brothers rise up and fight the oppressors using Wakandan technology, but how close was he to his actual goal? What would the long term look like and was he ultimately right in his overall message? That’s the tricky thing about Kill-Panther. On some level, no matter how misguided and violent he was, he wanted The City on the River to be open and out to the world, which is something T’Challa listened to and responded accordingly. Main, Kill-Panther was a great villain, right? Every time I watch Black Panther I always hope Kill-Panther changes his mind and decides to live, but alas, that just isn’t the case!
Join us today as we talk about Kill-Panther's ultimate goal in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we break down every aspect of his plan to see what worked, what didn’t, and what his legacy ultimately will be! When you’re done, be sure to hit that big like and subscribe button and be sure to leave a comment, or else there will be no more Heart-Shaped Herbs! Better not risk it. Let’s get started!
