The Big Three Shonen series all owe their inspiration to Dragon Ball. This includes Naruto, One Piece, and of course, Tite Kubo’s epic series. If there wasn’t for Akira Toriyama, there wouldn’t be an Ichigo. If you ever wondered why Yamamoto looks like Master Roshi, well now you know. So what happens when we mix those two iconic shonen anime together? How does the ally to Earth, a nightmare to you stack up against his spiritual shonen battle manga children?

Today we’re pitting our favorite alien martial artist up against all the most powerful heroes and most terrifying villains of this anime universe. Can the kakorrot transformation overcome Ichigo’s Bankai? Can the Instant Transmission technique outrun a Flash Step? Can a Kamehameha overpower an Espada’s Cero attack? We think that the Saiyan from Earth can defeat all the Soul Reapers, Hollows, and Quincies that the most stylish of the Big Three has to offer. We are looking at characters all the way from the very first episode down to the parts of the manga that aren’t even animated yet. You’ll have to watch this video to find out.
