Is the Master of the Mystic Arts and future Sorcerer Supreme really as trustworthy as we all believe him to be? We all know the story of how the former neurosurgeon peeked into the future to see the possible outcomes of the conflict built up over three phases of the film. One out of about 14,000,000 isn’t the best of odds, but could that really be the only hope the heroes had? A new theory states that the Master of the New York Sanctum may have been dishonest with The Starkster about what he truly saw in the future. The good surgeon may have actually been the architect and mastermind behind the entire end of Phase 3. Yes, Thanos needed to be defeated, but it just may be possible that The Starkster could have been spared.
The Billionaire has a history of causing problems in his quest to save the world. Sokovia. Civil War. There are actually several examples where his quest for good has led to some of the greatest calamities the MCU has ever seen. Could Stephen have seen alternate paths to victory, but with The Starkster around knowing that the victory would have eventually led to defeat? In today’s video, we explore all these questions, and the possible repercussions if the end of one of the greatest heroes in the MCU really was totally unavoidable. Does it make sense for Stephen to have wanted our favourite hero out of the picture for the greater good of the future? Be sure to leave a like, subscribe, and comment if there’s any weight to this new theory turning our magical hero into more of a mystical anti-hero.
