My Hero Academia 1- A Quirks Ranked By Power

U.A. Academy is the home to some of the strongest heroes-to-be in the world! It’s pretty much the Harvard of Heros. This video will be going through the powers that the students of Izuku Midoriya's homeroom class have, and see which ones are a bit underwhelming and which ones are PLUS ULTRA!

All the characters here have a lot going for them, but some are a bit more impressive than others in innate abilities. Just because one of the student’s abilities is low on the list doesn’t mean that it isn’t useful or that they couldn’t beat someone higher up, but their innate ability might be a bit lacking. Characters like Minoru Mineta have shown that they are extremely capable, but are held back just a bit due to their ability. Then you have characters like Katsuki Bakugo and Shoto Todoroki who have undeniably amazing and destructive capabilities.

Some abilities of the homeroom students are truly great in their own right but just fall short in terms of combat potential. Koji Koda’s Anivoice gives him command over all animals. (Except human of course) Kyoka Jiro’s earplugs give her nearly unparalleled scouting potential. Ochaco Urararaka (AKA, Gravity) can dispel the effects of gravity, making anything she wants to float. Momo Yaoyorozu has the ability to create anything she wants from her body as long as she knows how it works! Super amazing abilities, but not quite enough to beat some of the stronger ones in a head-to-head match.

In the case of Izuku Midoriya, he was born without any special abilities, but he was given the world's strongest quirk, One for All, by the Worlds Strongest Hero, All Might. One for All is an incredible ability that allows the user to stockpile absurd amounts of energy and release it all at once… As long as their body can handle the strain.
