Naruto: 30 Reincarnated Shinobi Ranked By Power

Whether through the use of Granny Chiyo’s self-sacrificial Kisho Tensei or the darker summoning jutsu Edo Tensei, resurrection, or reanimation, has been a main part of this anime’s universe since the early 2000s. Sometimes used to bring back to life a beloved character like Gaara, but most often used as a weapon against other ninjas, the most talented fighters across history have been reanimated in battle and have brought us some of the most iconic moments in the anime. While every ninja has their strengths and weaknesses some of these long gone warriors are obviously more skilled than others.

While some characters came back more or less the same—but with a greyer complexion due to Kabuto Yakushi’s Summoning: Impure World Reincarnation jutsu—during the Fourth Shinobi World War, some others like the legendary Madara Uchiha were revived with heaven greater power. Originally claiming to be weaker than the First Hokage of Konohagakure Hashirama Senju, Madara attained powers far superior than the ones of the clan he hated with a burning passion.

The Fourth Great War was the occasion to see some of our favourite characters, good or bad, back in fighting mode, but also to give a chance to characters like Sasuke and Itachi or Tsunade and Dan to get well-deserved closure as they said their last goodbye. But between all of these revived ninjas, some have proben to be stronger than others.
