More than 1.5 million New Yorkers suffer from food insecurity. In response, SHOWTIME and DESUS & MERO have partnered with some of New York’s top food rescue organizations and NPOs, City Harvest and NY Forever, to launch Comida Gratis. The initiative’s mission is to fill 80+ community refrigerators across NYC with fresh food, while raising awareness and inspiring community support.
