The God of Thunder has grown into one of the best characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He’s gone from the overly serious, Shakespearean-esque figure, to one that’s more comedic around the edges and has actually lost more than anyone in the MCU. Seriously, he lost Jane Foster, he lost Loki, he lost both his parents, half his people, his best friend, his eye and of course, his hammer. Mjolnir was such an important part to the God of Thunder’s identity that it’s strange seeing it destroyed by the evil villain Hela.
