From Captain America’s Shield to the Infinity Gauntlet, to the Tesseract and back to Mjolnir and all around to Stormbreaker and things like Iron Man’s suit, the MCU has featured no shortage of powerful weapons taken from the comics ‘long history in its never ending quest to challenge its constantly growing gaggle of costumed crusaders. But while 13 years and nearly 30 movies with more on the way is certainly nothing to sneeze at, it doesn’t hold a candle to the 60+ years of comic books and their thousands upon thousands of issues. The movies just can’t catch up to this!
So naturally, Marvel Comics is absolutely flooded with incredible weapons and gadgets for just about any and all purposes, from all corners of the vast multiverse, with all kinds of crazy abilities. That’s why we’re taking a look at a bunch of them in this video, be they likely candidates for future films or distant, improbable items no one is holding their breath waiting for the arrival of. Be they adaptive alien weapons from Only-God-Knows-Where, cosmic devices meant for the instant vaporizing of others, alternatives to iconic hand to hand weapons or magical armors, there’s something to be found for just about everybody here… along with many many more that you are very welcome to mention in the comment section below.
