Recently, I was rewatching Avengers: Infinity War, and something came up that got the theorizing side of the brain running a mile a minute.
I think we all remember the moment in the movie where Doctor Strange looks forward through a bunch of different timelines to find out how things were gonna play out in their upcoming battle with Thanos. It is a memorable moment to be sure, one that basically set up the entirety of Endgame.
Now, this got me thinking. With how we understand timelines and such to work within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, each of those different timelines could have been a separate universe all to itself. Theoretically.
Which means that, theoretically speaking, Strange could have very well looked at some different universes that we know of already.
Such as, the universes in which the other Spider-Man films took place.
I know I know. You are probably thinking I’m crazy right now. Thanos doesn’t exist in those film. But, what if he does, and just hasn’t shown up yet? And what would happen when he does? How prepared would those universes be, to fend off the Mad Titan himself?
Well, let’s find out.
