Peter Parker is one of the most beloved characters in the MCU. I mean, his last movie made a gazillion dollars at the box office, of course people want to see him! Yeah, sure, that number may also be because of some other additions to No Way Home and not just the MCU’s Peter Parker, but still… People love Spider-Man! And we all adore the character so much that we’re willing to forgive him when he makes a few mistakes. Okay, maybe it’s more than a few mistakes… I think you could argue that your friendly neighborhood web-head makes the most mistakes out of any hero not named Iron Man! But what exactl are the biggest “whoopsies'' that Peter Parker has done in the MCU? That’s what I want to discuss today!
I think clearly his biggest mistake was giving Mysterio the E.D.I.T.H. glasses don’t you think? That was an ultimate weapon that definitely should not have fallen into the wrong hands and unfortunately Peter was manipulated a bit too easily into handing them over. Or do you think his biggest mistake was going to Doctor Strange and asking for his identity to be erased? That one may be the worst one. Especially because Peter seemed to do that on a whim without including anyone else into the conversation or decision. I think overall there are two types of Peter mistakes. The ones where he doesn’t think things through and gets himself into a mess, or the ones where it’s an accident that he couldn’t predict. Both are bad, but still, it’s always nice to see how Peter gets himself out of these messes.
So join me today as I talk all about the biggest Spidey mistakes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After you’re done, be sure to hit that big like and subscribe button for more awesome superhero content like this! Thanks for watching CBR! Let’s get started.
