In what is the Marvel Cinematic Universe's latest cosmic adventure, and first ever, fourth installment of any individual superhero’s franchise, not to mention the villain being Gorr the God Butcher, it’s no surprise to fans that Thor: Love and Thunder was riddled with gods and deities throughout. With more than just Asgardians being blatantly shown and referred to on and off screen, we received confirmation of thousands of gods within the MCU, hundreds being slain already. Not only were we formally introduced to familiar, commonly-known gods such as Zeus and his son Hercules, we also had the privilege of meeting some completely obscure and made-up gods such as the egotistical and self-serving Rapu or Korg and the Kronan’s supreme being Ninny of the Nonny. Traveling to the incredible Omnipotence City, safe haven and home to the Council of the Godheads, and with the MCU’s latest big baddie Gorr the God Butcher steadily on the hunt for divine avatars with his corrupted blade, All-Black the Necrosword throughout this film, we would like to pose one important question: Which of these gods are the most notable and powerful?
